Hello, my name is Riley Bapty. I am seventeen years old and this is my fourth year being a part of the Armstrong Beef 4-H club.
This is my steer The Rumenator; he is a Hereford/Angus cross and was born and raised on Coldstream Ranch. He is eating 24lbs a day of Valley Auction Tex grain. At weigh in he weighed 881lbs and as of June 1st he weighs 1410lbs.
Although I have only been in 4-H for 4 years it has become a big part of my life. I have participated in many wonderful opportunities 4-H has to offer and have raised many projects. COVID-19 has been challenging and cancelled many important things for many people but I have also gained many amazing
opportunities and experiences because of it. This spring I have been able to be more involved with the ranch and learned many valuable lessons.
I have been raised in ranching and agriculture and I plan stay as involved as possible for the rest of my life. With any money I may make I will put towards University, I am looking to go into Nursing. I plan to use my nursing career to support my future in agriculture.
I would like to thank Mike Nikolaisen and Team Auction sales for making this sale possible. I would also like to thank the Stock Show Committee and everyone that is supporting the sale. Congratulations to all my fellow 4-H members that are participating in the online sale this year.
