My work on the topic of balance goes to a construction site. Transporting, carrying, connecting, building requires balance. I think the symbol of building can be applied so well to many life situations.
I have put together a small collection of carved miniatures here. I carve them from different woods: lime, willow, maple, ash, yew, pine wood and more.

I was born in 1963 in Saxony, Germany. I did my apprenticeship as a wood carver from 1980-83. In 1993-95 I became a master craftsman. Since then I have been working freelance. I have gained a lot of experience at international symposiums in Korea, Malaysia, China, USA, Czech Republic and Austria. I work in different areas e.g. Chainsaw and miniatures. In my diary of wood I have been working in miniatures for about 7 years. I also created a work in this format here.
