Crook County Volunteer Fire Department

About Crook County Volunteer Fire Department

The Crook County Volunteer Fire Department (CCVFD) proudly serves the people of Crook
County, Wyoming—covering over 2,800 square miles of rugged, rural landscape and protecting
a population of just under 8,000 residents. Our dedicated volunteers respond to emergencies
across four towns and twelve rural fire zones, standing ready day and night to protect lives, property, and the land we all call home.

As a volunteer department with a very limited budget, we rely heavily on the generosity and
support of our community. Every dollar raised helps us prepare for the challenges of the
upcoming fire season—whether it’s maintaining critical equipment, fueling our vehicles, or
ensuring our volunteers have the tools and training they need to respond safely and effectively.
