Hi, My Name is Cole Ferguson. I am thirteen years old and this is my fourth year in the Armstrong Beef 4-H Club. This is my Market Steer project Bandit and he is an Angus cross that I purchased from Schweb Family Cattle in Silver Creek, BC. Bandit has been a really neat steer to raise. He’s been fed free choice grass hay and a great grain ration from our local Sure Crop Feeds Mill.
My favorite part of 4-H is spending time with my Club and my animals in the barns at the events. You can learn a lot by just spending that time there, watching and putting in the work. I also really enjoy Judging.With the current situation around the world, these types of events will have to wait for next year and it has also brought a new way of selling my steer.I hope you will consider supporting me by logging in online and purchasing some tender prime beef!
I bought my first heifer this year to start my own Red Angus herd. Selling my steer will allow me the funds to buy next years’
4-H project and maybe help with some feed costs. I\d like you to know that I do have a processing date booked if you would like to use it.
