Big Game Hunting
A typical day begins with a full breakfast, a morning trip into the field to hunt, a relaxing lunch back at the lodge, a mid-afternoon nap, and another afternoon big game hunting experience. Then, enjoy cocktails, wine, appetizers, and dinner with courses inspired by the local Kiwi culture, including fresh venison, chicken, beef, vegetables, and local desserts.
Long Range Goat Shooting One afternoon, all the hunters in camp will go out for a thrilling day of long-range goat shooting. These wild goats are a menace and overpopulated; they compete for available food from the game animals. Experience shots from 300 to 900 yards with excellent optics and learn from the pro staff at Avon Valley. Each hunter may shoot up to 10 goats with no trophy fees. This bonus shoot is done as a group and is not available individually.
Accommodation
Indulge in a 5-night stay in a deluxe room with En-Suite bathrooms in a lodge designed with your utmost comfort in mind. Delight in locally inspired gourmet meals and exquisite New Zealand wine and local beer in the main dining area. Unwind in the living room and share stories about your successful day of hunting. Situated in the Marlborough region of New Zealand, approximately one hour's drive from Blenheim, transportation from the airport to the lodge is included.
Hunt thousands of acres of prime New Zealand ranchlands and farmland for up to 12 species of Big Game animals. The most popular time to hunt Red Stag is mid-February through the end of July, while the best time to pursue Tahr and Chamois is May through July.
Embark on a thrilling adventure with various species available for hunting, including Red Stag, Himalayan Tahr, Feral Goat, Wapiti, Alpine Chamois, Captain Cook Wild Boar, Fallow Stag, and Arapawa Ram.
Additional Information
Hunter must complete travel within three years from the date of purchase. Reservations are subject to availability.
Children as young as eight who have taken a hunter safety course can hunt with their parents. A deposit of $3,500 per hunter is required to reserve hunting reservations and dates. The $3,500 deposit goes 100% towards each hunter's trophy fees for animals harvested at the end of the hunt. An additional $1,500 deposit is due by August 1st, the year before arrival. This second deposit also goes 100% towards trophy fees.
Hunters must harvest a red stag with a minimum score of SCI375 or equivalent in the price of a Tahr, Chamois, or other game. Non-hunters can join the trip at the rate of
$1500 per person. The average hunter will spend $7,000 on trophy fees.

Please note that this package does not include roundtrip airfare to Blenheim, accommodations before or after the hunt, trophy fees for animals harvested or wounded, dip and pack or other taxidermy services, trophy export costs, rifle permits, or non-hunters.

The following provisions will apply to bidders participating in online bidding:
1. Winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid plus 6% Buyers Premium and 3% service fee. Winner will receive an immediate email acknowledgement at the conclusion of the bidding phase followed by a paid invoice once their payment has processed.
2. In the event the card is declined, Charity Hunting Club will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, Charity Hunting Club may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the affected item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3. Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (6% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
4. Online bidders agree not to use any device, software, or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
5. Charity Hunting Club reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change, or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
6. If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
7. Charity Hunting Club reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
8. All items sold through Charity Hunting Club are received from third-party vendors. GOODS: All goods in the live auctions, silent auctions, and raffles have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by Charity Hunting Club, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons, to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of Charity Hunting Club. Charity Hunting Club makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. Charity Hunting Club does not accept any responsibility or liability for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties with respect to the goods delivered to the purchaser are those solely of the manufacturer or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer. All firearms obtained for this event will be transferred in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. SERVICES: All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live auctions, silent auctions, and raffles have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “GOODS” above. The services in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of Charity Hunting Club. Charity Hunting Club makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. No services in the live auctions are to be or will be performed by Charity Hunting Club. Charity Hunting Auctions shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The high bidder further acknowledges that in the event services are purchased, Charity Hunting Club cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the confines of the United States, nor can Charity Hunting Club be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise therefrom. The high bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances, and that should legal action be required to collect for the services or merchandise acquired by the high bidder at the auction, Charity Hunting Club shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney’s fees, cost of court, and interest as provided by law.
9. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. Charity Hunting Club will not be responsible for errors or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on Charity Hunting Club’s or bidder’s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and/or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder’s internet connection, computer, or system. Charity Hunting Club does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
10. Charity Hunting Club may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
11. Restrictions:
-Combining two auction hunts consecutively or simultaneously by the same group, using different outfitters from the same country, is strictly prohibited.
-Donations hunt may not be sold, transferred, or assigned to another party without the explicit written consent of the outfitter.
12. Post-Purchase Procedures:
-Contact Initiation: Within five days of your purchase and payment, CHC will provide detailed contact information for both you and the outfitter to facilitate trip planning.
-Your Responsibility: You must contact the outfitter within 30 days of purchase to ensure a safe and timely trip. This step is crucial for coordinating travel arrangements, if needed.
13. Support: For any questions or concerns before or after the auction, contact CHC for assistance in connecting with your outfitter.
